TechAccess, a value added distributor in the Middle East, North Africa, LEVANT, Pakistan and Afghanistan, held a sales and pre-sales training session in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for partners of data management vendor, Commvault. The training was designed to educate partners in how to transform customers’ data into powerful and strategic assets with Commvault’s data protection and information management solutions.

The training covered topics such as Commvault’s high level design, protecting virtual environments, data profiles and policies, core architecture design, mobile endpoint and advanced data protection, IntelliSnap integration, database and applications.

“As the country moves towards diversifying to a non-oil related economy, businesses in Saudi Arabia are turning to IT implementation, such as big data analytics, for better business insights and to make data-driven decisions,” said Dimuth Wijeratne, General Manager – Products, at TechAccess. “Channel partners play a crucial role in helping customers identify the right technology and product to meet the specific demand that will help drive their business. The aim of this training is to equip our partners’ sales and pre-sales resources with in-depth knowledge on how to position and sell Commvault’s end-to-end solutions portfolio, which caters to every aspect of data management and data protection.”

TechAccess conducts a number of strategic partner enablement campaigns for Commvault across the region. The training sessions, which are part of TechAccess’ value addition, are primarily conducted for the partners’ sale and pre-sales resources to help them grasp a better understanding of Commvault’s solutions, and assist them in identifying new business opportunities.
