NetSuite, a provider of cloud based financials, ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, announced that Gulf Software Distribution has joined the NetSuite Solution Provider Partner Programme as a strategic partner. Gulf Software Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulf Business Machines, has been appointed Master Solutions Provider by NetSuite and plans to spearhead its partner business in the region. This strategic alliance allows Gulf Software Distribution to deliver NetSuite to meet the demand for cloud ERP among businesses in the Middle East.
Partnering with NetSuite allows Gulf Software Distribution to establish an immediate cloud ERP presence in the Middle East. Under the partnership, Gulf Software Distribution plans to distribute NetSuite via partners including Gulf Business Machines, and sell directly to businesses in industries including IT, services, finance and banking, and retail. It already has a team trained up on NetSuite which can provide implementation, support, customisation, and integration services.
As a high growth region with a vibrant economy and fast developing IT sector, enterprises in the Middle East are increasingly upgrading from legacy systems to cloud ERP solutions to accommodate the need for scalability and agility that the local business environment demands.
“The Middle East, and Gulf area in particular, is an incredibly exciting and high-growth region comprising multiple markets with diverse industries and a strong contingent of multinational organisations,” said Mark Woodhams, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA at NetSuite. “NetSuite has operated in the region for some years but the partnership with Gulf Software Distribution, which has a presence in every country in the region, marks a step change in our market footprint.
