Avaya announced that it will showcase its latest innovations with multi touch communication capabilities at Gitex Technology Week 2016. Along with customers and partners, Avaya will demonstrate use cases for its solutions, highlighting how it is helping organisations in the Middle East achieve their digital transformation objectives. At Gitex 2016, Avaya will highlight its latest products including Breeze, Oceana and Zang.
Avaya Breeze is the next generation of the Avaya Engagement Development Platform which simplifies application development while delivering built-in capabilities for enhanced mobile, customer facing and hybrid, cloud requirements.
Avaya Oceana is an extensible, software based solution for multi touch customer engagement, built on the Avaya Breeze platform. Zang, a wholly owned subsidiary of Avaya, is a cloud communications platform and communication application as a service that can enhance the way businesses use communications to connect with customers and employees.
With 89% of businesses today expecting to compete primarily on the basis of customer experience, organisations need to evolve digitally and deliver differentiated experiences to their customers and workforces. However, IT departments are struggling to keep pace. By the end of 2017, market demand for mobile apps will grow five times faster than internal IT organisations can deliver them, according to Gartner. Companies need to be able to drive digital transformation initiatives and react to changing demand at customer speed.
“Avaya is committed to helping organisations achieve their digital transformation goals, and enabling them to respond to changing customer demand. Speed is the new currency for business transformation, businesses need to understand, predict and map the customer journey in real time. Gitex Technology Week 2016 is the perfect platform for us to demonstrate Avaya’s ability to collect information and unleash its full potential, so we are very excited to participate yet again in this important event,” said Mohammed Areff, Vice President, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Avaya.
