Nuvias Middle East and Africa, part of the pan-EMEA Nuvias Group, a high value distribution business, announced it has been appointed as Middle East and Africa distributor by Infocyte, a provider of hunt technology that eradicates malware and persistent threats. As a distribution partner, Nuvias Middle East and Africa will resell and distribute Infocyte HUNT throughout Middle East and Africa allowing Infocyte to expand its international market and reach.
“Nuvias Middle East and Africa is a trusted leader in providing security solutions to customers and resellers, and we are excited to work with them to bring Infocyte’s innovative threat hunting solution to the region,” said Infocyte President and COO, Kurt Mueffelmann.
“The Middle East’s proactive security posture has increased demand for solutions that hunt malware in an effort to close the breach detection gap. The partnership allows Nuvias to provide organisations in the region with the confidence that malware and persistent threats have been identified and remediated to prevent and limit damage using Infocyte HUNT.”
The distribution agreement will enable Nuvias to work with Infocyte to grow their Middle East and Africa footprint in the rapidly growing malware hunt market. The Infocyte HUNT threat hunting solution will be distributed through Nuvias’ preferred business partners.
Muneeb Anjum, Sales Director, Cybersecurity at Nuvias Middle East and Africa commented: “The Middle East as a region is on the cutting edge of cyber security. We look forward to working with Infocyte to bring a simple, yet disruptive hunt technology to the region. Infocyte HUNT provides an industry leading threat hunting platform to solve the question that should be the top of mind of every organisation across the region, knowing if their networks are currently breached with malware or persistent compromises.”
Infocyte HUNT is designed specifically to detect if malware is present on network endpoints. It scans and detects the post-intrusion activity, active or dormant, of attackers who have successfully evaded an organisation’s real-time defenses and established a beachhead within the network. It reduces the breach detection gap, the time that exists between infection and discovery, denying attackers the ability to persist, restoring trust in a network’s health.
Developed by former US Air Force cybersecurity officers, Infocyte’s HUNT technology fills a void left by today’s real-time detection solutions. By focusing on the post-compromise activity of persistent attackers and insider threats, Infocyte’s unique approach to security helps organisations defend their networks and critical information.
