Pure Storage operates a channel programme known as the P3 Programme, focused on enablement and education. It is designed for partners focused on Pure Storage, and on selling flash. The more resources a channel partner commits in being trained on selling Pure Storage’s All Flash Array, the vendor invests back in them. Pure Storage produces tools for channel partners, such as flash selling guides, TCO calculator tools, and Evergreen Storage proposals. The vendor is also enabling channel partners’ technical teams. Other benefits include co-branded campaign kits, using Pure Storage inside sales representatives, and mobile applications such as Pure On The Go.

Riverbed’s global channel strategy is to build focus partners and to have distribution build and manage the next level. Across Middle East, Africa and Turkey the vendor operates through a two-tier model, where business goes through value add distributors. Riverbed channel sales managers manage focus partners while value add distributors manage the second level of resellers to grow skills and capabilities, and to provide scale and reach.
More recently, Itani plans to engage deeper with Riverbed top customers and is building breadth through distribution in the non-named account space. He reports to Managing Director Middle East and North Africa. VMware has vendor alliances with Brocade, Cisco, Dell EMC, F5 Networks, Fujitsu, Hitachi Data Systems, HPE, Intel, Lenovo, NetApp, Nvidia Grid, Palo Alto Networks, SAP, Supermicro, Trend Micro, and Veeam.
VMware has seen success in implementing network infrastructure in Kuwait National Petroleum Company with the VMware vRealize Suite, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology with public cloud services, Al-Mawarid Bank with VMware NSX network virtualisation.
