Genetec, a provider of IP security and intelligence solutions, hosted the Genetec Middle East Channel Partner Awards to honour top-performing partners in the Middle East in recognition of their outstanding achievements in 2016. The special gala ceremony, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai, was attended by top executives from the region’s Genetec channel partner community.
According to the company’s senior executives, the Genetec Channel Partners Awards is one of the many activities lined up to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Founded in 1997 at a time when organisations were using analog technology, Genetec had the intuition and vision to recognise the potential of digital technology which was then used only for point-to-point transmission systems.
Video quality was limited by the resolution of NTSC and PAL formats and internet protocol IP technology was still in its stages of infancy. In the last 20 years, Genetec has established strong alliances with like-minded technology partners who thrive on innovation. Its technology partners have built products that enhance and maximise the features of Genetec’s video surveillance and access control systems, enabling it to deliver the best solutions and offer boundless application possibilities to various markets.
Firas Jadalla, Regional Director Middle East and Africa, Genetec said: “In 2017, Genetec will provide its customers with solutions that will help them realise a secure and open architecture and a unified physical security platform. We are also looking forward to work with both our integrators and customers to make them aware of our innovative technologies being developed. We are confident that our customers will benefit from the largest selection of integrated best-of-breed solutions and demonstrate complete trust in the reliability and performance of our joint offerings.”
“Partnerships with leading organisations help us to address each customer’s security requirements as they open more possibilities for new applications and infrastructures to enhance existing product offerings. The Genetec Channel Partners Awards is an opportunity for global executives to interact with partners and share strategies for accelerating profitable growth together. It is a platform for recognising the achievements of our Middle Eastern partners who have demonstrated their success by quickly adapting to new opportunities to drive customer success in an impactful manner,” concluded Jadalla.
Genetec develops open-architecture software, hardware and cloud-based services for the physical security and public safety industry.
