Ingram Micro announced the launch of its newly formed Internet of Things Business Unit in Middle East, Turkey and Africa. Ingram Micro has been a value-added distributor for numerous ICT vendors including Cisco, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and others.
Over the last 24 months, Ingram Micro has launched several solutions based business units including ones for Cloud Technology, Cyber Security and Physical Security. These Centers of Excellence have positioned the company to become a leader in these high growth segments, supporting the channel in the region and beyond.
The Internet of Things today is at the top of the agenda of all the leading technology vendors. Ingram Micro is well positioned to provide end to end solutions by combining vendor solutions with other IoT sensors, trackers, edge analytics, video analytics and software from many ISVs who have very industry specific applications. AbdelFattah has experience in IT and the telecommunication industry, having developed business around the region, with a track record of high growth achievements. He comes from a vendor background with 13 years in HPE, and five years prior this with Vodafone.
