Partnership adds value to Ingram Micro’s broad portfolio of IoT and electronic security technologies by providing access control solutions, video surveillance, IP audio, VMS and video recorders.
Ingram Micro, which has been operating in IT services for more than 40 years, is distributing the entire portfolio of Axis in Brazil following an agreement between the two companies.
This includes the distribution of video surveillance solutions, access control, IP audio, VMS and analytics and video recorders.
In addition, the complete line of Intercom from 2N, a company in the same group as Axis, enters the distributor’s catalog.
Roberto Gero, Director of Advanced Computing, Ingram Micro, said: “Being closer to IT decision-makers, whether they are customers or business partners, is the strategy we have adopted to solidify our position and offer solutions and intelligence platforms appropriate to the needs of our customers.
“With Ingram Micro’s broad portfolio, we were able to complement Axis solutions and present them to different markets.”
Axis has an important role in several IT business verticals, such as government, transport, education, retail, critical infrastructure, finance, health and data centers. In relation to the partnership, Axis has good expectations of increasing its presence in different segments of the Brazilian market.
Alessandra Faria, Director, Axis Brazil, said: “With the partnership, we hope to grow by double-digits every year, remain at the forefront of the enterprise market and prosper within our channel program.”
