Commencing on Monday (April 8), StarLink, the fastest growing ‘true’ Value-added-Distributor (VAD) in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) is all set to host its 2019 IT Security Roadshow, spanning seven cities. The first stop will be Riyadh, followed by Manama, Cairo, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Doha and Muscat.
Cyberattacks are becoming rampant and enterprises are installing excessively complex security systems which can affect user experience. Improving usability and security posture at an optimal cost comes with automation which needs investment in the right technologies. This year’s theme ‘Bridging the Gap between User Experience and Data Protection’ predominantly addresses this specific challenge that most organisations are currently facing.
With an agenda to match the expectations of organisations, industry experts from leading technology partners namely Acronis, BlackBerry, Boldon James, Fidelis, Infoblox, Riverbed and Tripwire will address trending vulnerabilities and share insights and best practices on solutions that can be deployed for accelerating and monitoring application performance, data classification, securing communication, vulnerability management and compliance, backup and recovery as well as automated threat detection and response.
Another important highlight of the roadshow is the ‘Technology Hub’ where customers can experience the innovative technologies first-hand as well as engage one-on-one with the technical experts and gain a better understanding of the success factors needed to ensure the best possible results for a secure and cyber resilient IT environment.
“One of our major focus areas is enhancing user experience through a customer-centric approach,” said Nidal Othman, Managing Director of StarLink Middle East.
“Enterprises need security solutions that are hassle-free, and which can integrate smoothly with user’s regular interface. By bringing in best-of-breed technologies that can eliminate system complexities and make business continuity seamless, we aim to improve end user experience and drive productivity.”
