SonicWall delivers greater flexibility in services for managed endpoint

SonicWall, a global leader in cybersecurity, has announced the first release of multiplemanaged services tailored for MSPs.

SonicWall is enrolling endpoint vendors for its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution, as well as developing a co-managed security service for new and existing MSPs offering SonicWall Capture Client or Windows Defend.

Customers can look forward to an ever-growing number of managed security products that include all managed capabilities, from firewalls to cloud security, as the SonicWall platform expands. No single vendor can cover all aspects of cybersecurity alone – the threats are numerous, sophisticated and diverse. Co-operation and collaboration in the sector are indispensable to enable cybersecurity.

For this reason, SonicWall is committed to developing a cybersecurity platform that not only enables more seamless integration across its portfolio, but also includes third-party vendors/partners.

All NGAV users can receive the same 24/7 monitoring, threat and anomaly detection from SonicWall’s dedicated SOC team. Currently supported NGAVs:

  • Capture Client, SonicWall’s advanced EDR solution
  • Windows Defender
  • SentinelOne
  • Cylance

In many cases, MSPs do not have a team that monitors alerts around the clock, which means that delays can occur between receiving a critical alert and implementing the defensive measure. Alert fatigue can also be a problem, as it can be difficult to identify the true issues amid the noise of false positives. The inclusion of a SOC ensures 24-hour monitoring, so no alert is missed, no matter when it arrives. This allows for a more immediate response and, overall, better security for both MSPs and their customers.

SonicWall’s latest release aligns with its outside-in approach, offering partners a comprehensive, flexible portfolio that accelerates their growth and coincides with a global launch plan leveraging AI and other technologies to deliver a world-class experience at scale.

In addition, with the acquisition of Banyan Security, SonicWall has strengthened its cloud security platform for the modern remote workforce by adding Zero Trust security, a technology used by everything from leading Fortune 100 companies to small businesses that are replacing previous architectures with SSE solutions, including Zero-Trust Network Access.
