Pedro Bellucci appointed new Channel Sales Manager of Hillstone Brazil

Hillstone Networks, a provider of cybersecurity and risk management solutions, has announced the hiring of Pedro Bellucci as Channel Sales Manager for Hillstone Brazil.

“Bellucci brings to our ecosystem the perspective of someone who understands cybersecurity and empathises with the challenges faced by our distributors and partners. His experience in our market will be a lever for the expansion of Hillstone solutions in all regions of Brazil,” said Alex Rodriguez, Deputy Sales Director of Hillstone Brazil.

Before joining Hillstone, Bellucci worked at Agis Distribuidora.

“Our goal is to continue empowering our partners to understand the business and technology challenges of their clients and, from there, position the Hillstone offer in a way that helps CISOs overcome their current and future challenges in cybersecurity,” said Pedro Bellucci.

In Bellucci’s view, in 2024, the Hillstone channel should continue to grow with the addition of partners with two very specific profiles – both groups find high-quality solutions with an excellent cost/benefit ratio in the company’s portfolio.

“There are partners who already operate in the digital security market and seek our most advanced solutions in Hillstone’s portfolio, based on AI, ML and behavioural analysis,” Bellucci said.

“This is the case with the iSource platforms for XDR and NDR – solutions that hyper-automate threat detection and response in heterogeneous and distributed environments. This group of partners is increasingly interested in developing digital asset defence projects in the cloud with the help of Hillstone CloudArmour and Hillstone CloudHive platforms.”

The second profile of partners includes companies that have identified Hillstone’s solutions as a lever for the growth of their businesses but do not yet fully master the most advanced cybersecurity disciplines and technologies.

“Regarding this group, we redouble our training and capacity-building efforts. Our goal is to collaborate in the training of experts who can, in the medium term, act as trusted advisors to their clients,” Bellucci said. This segment is more focused on Hillstone’s extensive range of firewalls, which start at 1GB and go up to 1.2TB chassis, detecting and preventing attacks – including Zero Day – and correcting vulnerabilities.

In terms of verticals, Bellucci believes that in 2024, the Hillstone ecosystem finds opportunities in the Telecom sector – where the company is already very consolidated, with great recognition, for example, in the Brazilian ISP segment – Finance, and Government.

“However, the excellence of the Hillstone offer is such that we should see innovative projects in all other verticals and regions of Brazil. In all cases, our partners will have the full support of our team so that they exceed their clients’ expectations and build long-term relationships with Brazilian CISOs.”
