DXC Technology appoints new Executive Vice President for applications services and AI

DXC Technology has made a significant addition to its senior leadership team.

Howard Boville, a seasoned industry expert, has been named Executive Vice President and Global Lead of Applications Services and AI. His appointment, which was effective from September 1, 2023, comes with direct reporting to DXC’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Salvino.

In a statement, Salvino expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Boville to the DXC leadership roster. Salvino highlighted Boville’s expertise in IT services and his track record of devising and successfully implementing growth strategies, particularly in the realm of Applications and AI. Salvino emphasized that Boville’s role will involve collaborating with teams and clients to modernize Applications and harness the power of AI, ultimately driving revenue growth and expanding margin, EPS and FCF for DXC.

Boville brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at some of the world’s leading companies. Notably, he served as IBM’s Senior Vice President, overseeing IBM Cloud Platform, Technology LifeCycle Services (TLS) and Cybersecurity. During his tenure, Boville crafted the strategy for IBM’s Regulated Hybrid Cloud Platform, creating a new market category in cloud technology that significantly contributed to IBM’s growth.

Boville expressed his honor in joining DXC during a pivotal moment in the company’s history. He acknowledged DXC’s essential role in serving the world’s most prominent companies and guiding them through the evolving landscape of new technology and market opportunities.
